Functional requirements
The first case and, which we believe is the most paradigmatic and logical, is that in which the documentation of a company is incorporated into the iArchiu platform from a document manager or corporate application. In this case, the way to enter and consult the documentation transferred to the iArxiu platform is through the web services provided by the platform, without the need to interact with the iArxiu website. However, they also have the possibility to enter and/or consult using the iArchive's own website.
The minimum requirements to use the iArxiu platform are the following:
– Have a considered volume of files/electronic documents managed in the document manager. It is mandatory that the files are closed or that they are final versions of the documents
– Be previously familiar with the client's business environment: how their processes that deal with files work at a minimum, at least from an archival perspective.
– Have a document management system defined and implemented in the organization and its instruments, such as transfer calendars, description system, classification table, etc.
– Have the data model (metadata) that describes the documents/files defined to facilitate integration with iArchiu and the creation of transfer information packages
Technical requirements
Supported integration clients are:
– Java 1.5
– Java 1.6
– DotNet
In addition, the application that will make use of the web services must have a digital application certificate (CDA).
Security is based on digitally signed SOAP messages for authentication and SAML assertions for authorization, sent over secure channels (HTTPS).
