The only way to upload a composite document unit (a file or dossier consisting of 1 where documents) to the iRXIU website is through a compressed .zip file.
However, the structure of this .zip file must depend on the type of documents it contains:
- Composite documentary units containing detached or independent signed documents
- Composite document units that do NOT contain detached or independent signed documents
Documentary units composed of documents signed with a detached signature
In this case, due to platform requirements, the structure of the ZIP must be as follows: a first level with a folder that identifies the file and within this folder a subfolder must be created for each document that is part of the record. If the document also includes an electronic signature of the detached (independent) type, a subfolder called the signature must be created to include them.
This is necessary because the iARXIU platform will have to validate the documents that have associated signatures, and it is important that these are correctly associated with the documents that sign (independent signatures).
When a user wants to upload a composite document unit of this type, he must indicate this before uploading the .zip file. You must select the radio button "rigid structure"
Composite document units WITHOUT signed documents with detached signature
In this case it is allowed to upload a compressed .zip file regardless of the internal structure inside. This means that the compressed file can:
- Contain folders or subfolders
- Contain files in the first level or in folders
- No limit on documents or files (within the limits set by the platform)
- If there is more than one document with the same name, this duplication is avoided by adding a numeric suffix (_1, _2, etc.).
Limitation: It is not allowed to include folders or files that have "strange" characters in their name such as accents, punctuation, etc. In this case the platform returns the following error:
