User type: Fund administrator
Once we have the templates to describe the transfer information packages created and saved locally, the next step is to upload them to the platform so that they can be used. To do this, click "administration" within the "Templates" section of the Administration Area.
When accessing template administration, the template maintenance screen will be displayed, where the system templates are listed, with the possible options:
- Add template
- Modify template
- Delete template
- Download template XML
- Enable/disable template
Add template
To add a template, the user will need to give the template a name and upload the associated template file, which has previously been created with the template editor .
Template modification
Modifying a template allows you to upload a new template file, as long as there are no existing information packages that use it.
Template deletion
Deleting a template can be done as long as the template does not have any information packages associated with the platform.
Download XML
Allows you to download the XML that defines the template.
Enable/disable template
The purpose of activating and deactivating templates is to prevent the use of obsolete templates when they cannot be deleted, since there are already information packages that use them. When a template is deactivated, it cannot be used for new PIT entries.
